Brian graduated from Seton Hall University with a BS in accounting. He began in Capital Markets in New York City in 1982. His institutional career spans more than 25 years, including his work experience in brokerage and management positions in U.S. Treasuries, nondollar sovereign bond markets, derivative products, and repurchase agreement financing on all aspects of fixed income. His job appointments included positions in London, Toronto, and Hong Kong, eventually coming back to New York to manage nondollar fixed income products for Euro Brokers in 1997. He then concentrated on U.S. products in New York and New Jersey, retiring in 2007 from ICAP Securities, the largest institutional broker in the world.
Brian then began working for Smith Barney Citibank as a financial advisor in 2007. After the merger of Smith Barney and Morgan Stanley, his title became portfolio manager and he designed custom portfolios for his clientele.
Brian earned his Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation in 2014. Brian’s extensive mix of experience across multiple asset classes and currencies gives him a broad insight into diverse markets. Experience that he brings to serve his clients’ investment needs in today’s market.
Brian has been involved for many years in local service, volunteering time and financial support. Living in Basking Ridge for 26 years, he has been active in fund raising for Delbarton School, Newark PAL, Patriot’s Path Council (Boy Scouts), and Rotary. His associations include Stanton Ridge GCC, Corvette Club of Central New Jersey, MG Club of Central New Jersey, Flat-Coated Retriever Society of America, and American Kennel Club, all of which he remains active in.
